cellular phone charge

My fiance and I talk on the phone for at least 1 hour each day. I was wondering if there is a charge on her end when I call. She has never mentioned it, but she has a cellular and I just read there may be charges by the minute on her end also. Is that true?

Chikka is cheaper than calling her, if you want to save a few bucks, just out of curiousity are u using a pre paid phone card to call, how can u afford to call that long every day, if i did, my phone bill would be 450 bucks a month

Outwest, What exactly is chikka? How much does it cost to use? Do I connect it to my computer? Is it difficult to install? This sounds very interesting,since I now use a phone card that gives a me little over 1 hour for $10.00. Therefore, I am paying almost $300.00 for phone use. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Well, chikka is not a phone card, but there are several ways you can save on phone bills, i have a gf in manila, and i used to call her for long hours at a time but i just cant afford it,

1)chikka is www.chikka.com, you download the program, install it, to your computer then you can invite her to your chikka, by entering her phone number starting with
63xxxxxx, then she accepts, Then she can text to your computer from her cell phone for 2.5pesos per  message, more expensive than 1p per txt which they usually pay in the phils, but much cheaper than 20p per text which she is normally charged to text to the usa, You can text from your computer to her cell phone, which is nice since you can keep in touch with her for free, its free for you to text her, and it makes her happy since she has a text message from you, Be careful since it can eat up her load fast if she sends too many messages to you, so i just tell my gf to just look at my messages sometimes and not respond to every one............

2)Yahoo messenger, which you may already use, you can voice chat on that with video cam, which is better than a phone conversation since you have video.

Outwest is right! Chikka can help you save some big bucks if you use it right. I wish we would have had it when I was courting my wife.
