Personally, I have made myself look silly here more than once, but found that I felt better staying than leaving.  Tim always told me to wait a while if a post made me angry or defensive, re-read it and then consdier my reply. It's good advice

Everyone here knows and likes you and I think everyone here understands that it was just a case of misunderstanding the post.  I can't imagine anyone here thinks less of you for this one instance.

You have been a valuable contributor your whole tenure here.  I'm sure I am not alone in hoping that you find it in you to stay active on this board!

Febtember:

I think you're making a hasty decision.  I know you've been an encouragement and joy to Tess and myself.  We'll miss you.  

I'm not worried about you offending anybody.  That's life.  I mean, when you communicate via internet you can't see expressions, etc.  Therefore we sometimes mis read a situation.  This was an honest mistake.  I never thought it was otherwise.

Stick around.  We'll both be better off because of it.

You can't quit. You're my favorite poster here (and I'm probably not the only one who would say that if they took a poll). It is so much fun to watch a sincere and intellegent woman from another culture discover our country and culture and share her discoveries and feeling with us. It's always nice to read your posts, because your excitement comes through in every post. I also consider you and your husband an example to how to conduct a bi-culture marriage the RIGHT way, the way a marriage should be. In other words, an inspiration to all of us. I don't think you should deprive all of us of that. Please reconsider.

PS..don't forget, we all want to know that you and the baby are OK when the time comes, so see, you can't quit.
