Unemployed Woman Robbed of $160,000

ITAR-TASS reports with reference to the Moscow regional internal affairs department that an unemployed woman living in the Moscow Region was robbed of $160,000. The incident occurred on the night of Monday, December 29. Six men in masks burst into a private house in the settlement of Misoilovo of Leninsky District in the Moscow Region, tied the woman's hands and demanded money and valuables from her. The scared woman showed where she kept her dollars.

When the robbers disappeared, the woman got free and called for the police. An official inquiry was started on the robbery, however no success has been achieved yet. The police believe that the robbers burst into the house because they knew about the money kept there.

Actually, that really  wouldn't matter since she probably is using somebody elses photo. lol.

Sounds like the mailmen were the robbers, who else would have known... the western union employees ?

in Moscow it wouldnt be all that unusual for a woman to be worth 100K plus-
and with thier aversion to banks and banking it doesnt seem
spectacular?

just a somewhat wealthy lady that got robbed unfortunantly *shrugs*

I'm surprised they dint state her age or any more detail though..
my guess is 40 to 55? New Russian or "old money" or professional.

all speculation of course ,

but i'd be shocked if its a 23 yo Yana Smokinhotkova with a baleful of western union receipts

in the oldest profession with wealthy American, German and Japanese customers? No tax paid, of course, but mafia made some cut.
