Looking for a good trustworthy Moscow contact person to hire for help with getting and renting a reasonably priced furnished flat to rent for 3 or 4 weeks in January/Febuary and for over-all help with things like getting from and to the airport, rides, getting visa registered, helping with getting a cell-phone and some calling cards while there and maybe translating a few phone-calls, help on how to learn how to use the subway and getting around Moscow for shopping etc...

Basicly someone living in Moscow that knows the area well and can speak some Russian and English, someone that can be reached hopefully by telephone if needed, someone that is interested in makeing a few bucks helping out a bit with what-ever comes up...

Can't help you on most of your stuff... but the Moscow subway is super easy to use and super cheap.  It's a rare instance of efficiency in Russia.  It's 100 roubles for a 20-ride ticket...which comes out to about eighteen cents per ride.
