parking long term in Houstons Bush Intl airport? It looks like I'm going to have to drive to Houston  instead of flying in. I'm wondering the price per day or week for long term parking?

Better yet, get your ex-girlfriend to take you and pick you up!

Don't be a bone head and tell her what your doing!!

How much was the airfare on Northwest/KLM verse AMR/BA ?
Where are you flying into ?

I've heard people parking their cars at hotels near the airport and you might be able to pay the front desk a small fee and then ride their shuttle to the airport.

The way I do it (in Memphis), I park my car at the navy base and then ride the base shuttle into town. FREE!

The city lot is $6.00 a day. The garage is $12 a day. If you park in the city lot, they have a shuttle that is free that will take you to the terminal. There isn't too much of a wait for it. The city lot is on the East side of JFK blvd.

Depending on how long you are going to park it may be cheaper to rent a car from your home town and drop it off at the airport.  Rent again to get home.  The additional advantage is that there is usually a free bus from the rental car parking lot to the departure terminal and from terminal to lot on your return.
Or, there may be some lots near the airport where you can park more cheaply and they provide a van to the airport.  I have seen that.
I usually rent myself, but I usually go over for a month at a time.

Another option is to stay at one of the airport hotels.  When you spend a night on one or both ends of your trip, many airport hotels will let you leave your car at the hotel and shuttle you to/from the airport.

The price of parking at Houston Bush International Airport ranges from $6/24 hours (city economy garage) to $30/24 hours at the short term garage. The long term lot is $12/24 hours.

Here is the link to the Houston airport system: http://www.houstonairportsystem.org/iah_default.htm

the airport you can drop your off and say it's not running right, tell them you have to go on a business trip.

Course, your luck... They'd replace a bunch of stuff and really give you a nasty bill.   But if they're honest, they won't and you get to park your car for free on their lot.

Heck and they just might come and get you as well.
