Fiancee is concerned that if she comes to live in USA she will not be able to return to visit her Momma and grown daughter in Russia.
She has been told that it is easier to return if she marries in Russia and comes to USA on a K3 visa.
That it might take her 5 years to be able to leave USA and visit Russia if she comes to USA on a K1 Visa and marries here.
Consequently, she would like to come to visit USA on a K1 but return to Russia to marry and return on a K3.
Any suggestions or directions to information sources would be very much appreciated.

She could visit Russia almost immediately. After marrying she would simply file for an Advanced Parole with INS. Approval was taking a month but I've heard that it may be up to three now, depending on what center you use.

This should be a very quick process unless you are going through the Miami regional office. Worst case scenario still should not be more than 90 days.

Just make sure you know all the documentation you must gather on the front end of the process. Also I think you might need to file the I-485 at the same time as the Advance Parole.

same time as AOS adjustment of status but it is worth the time to do it."Also" worth to file for her EAD work card at the same time at adjustment. If it is an emergency like a death or serious accident abroad, they'd give her advance parole "immediately" otherwise for just Advanced Parole for traveling purposes, many wait 2 or 3 months to receive.

NOTE:Make sure she brings stamped origional copy of her marraige license with her to re-enter USA.They'll certainly ask for it "especially" if she doesn't have her green card yet...

We did all 3 at the same time, but I was not sure about parameters. Thanks.
