I was just thinking that the ugly duckling may have something more to her.

I mean my first point of contact is a thumbnail photo. I don’t have the time to read thousands of profiles.

The experts say that men go for the young hourglass shaped figure because it indicates that she is fertile.
Women go for the rich,strong type because it means her genes have a better chance of survival.

So, it all boils down to this – SURVIVAL OF THE SPECIES

About that ugly duckling, I may never get to know what a beautiful person you really are. You will never get to know me,Cyrano.

One magazine's survey (can't remember which one it was, Cosmo I think) said that the time when men went for the hourglass figure a-la Marylin Monro is over. They now go for skinny boyish-type shaped women. I agree with that mag's opinion. Looks like women are much more constant in their preferences though.
