saw the movie last night. I was very sceptical about it. But now I think it's a good movie, nothing great, but just a good movie and MUST see, especially for all the guys who are only starting.

I did not like the beginning, but than the story turned quite into a funny direction.

My very first comment to my hubby was "you see now how "boring" I was?" But I guess he prefers to keep it that way Smiley

RW,
I am kind of surprised that you liked the movie as it didn't show Russian women in a very good light.  Chain smoking, scamming, imoral sex machines that will do anything to get out of Russia hits about every negative sterotype that our weekend trolls write about.  Come to think of it, Birthday Girl also sterotypes the men that are involved with MOB as weak, non-social men that are so desperate for female attention that they "order" a Russian hottie that they cannot speak to, let alone know.  Hmmm, maybe I should have looked for Claire in the screen writer credits.  LOL.  The movie itself, was not bad but it sure did nothing to enhance the reputation of Russian women.

There was a Clare in the credits about 10 seconds into them (after all the actors names being listed). Not that I was looking, I just noticed the name :-)

Somehow I doubt that he found you boring, RW...

But, it is funny that with all of the gorgeous Russian women in America, they find a lady from Australia to play the lead in this one.

BTW... it just occurred to me...

First Tom Cruise goes to Australia for his lady.

Now he is with a Latina.

Typical loser American guy who can't find a good American woman to be with, huh? (Where's Claire when you need her...?)

NO, I called myself boring because comparing to HOW that "Russian" lady changed the life of poor guy, I don't think I come close at all Smiley

To be honest, I think Nicole Kindman did a pretty good job. Though I agree, there are many russian actresses who could do even better.
