The uniweb cable internet unlimited service cost 465,000 pesos a month with all the taxes and fees.Its really the only choice for true high speeed internet in Cali.Other cities,like Medelin have better and cheaper sources. The vonage phone quality is excellent.Sometimes but rarely some gaps in conversation.It costs $25 a month for unlimited calls to the US and Canada plus is $.10 or less a miniute to most of the WORLD.I have a 408 area code number.Its free calling back from there or if you have unlimited US calling. The internet quality and speed is excellent.Sometimes uniweb is down.If there is a power outage they can go down even though I have a back up battery surge protector and my building a generator that kicks in in 5 seconds I can lose internet when uniweb goes down. TNC, FWIW, Medellin's cable internet is cheaper than Cali. EPM charges 120,000 pesos/month for their triple play (internet @ 128mhz, TV, and computer telephone/local calls) and the quality is very good.
