Title: one mans scammer is another mans wife Post by: jim c on March 19, 2005, 05:00:00 AM Truer words were never spoken. Ben I tried to tell you that you were stepping into dangereous territory. I did not agree with you, about her, except that she wasted your time.
These girls never tell you that they are not interested, they LIE, and feel it is better to tell you what you want to hear. This scenario has happened to most of us in Colombia. We constantly scream about them wasting our time. The ladies complain about being rushed and then we go home never to see them again. Gringos have created their own bad reprutations here. Look! stop trying to defend your post. You made a well intentioned mistake and opened yourself to criticism. These ladies reputations are sacred to someone or will be in the future. Use a little discretion and I won't talk about your mama. jimc Title: Re: one mans scammer is another mans wife Post by: OkieMan on March 20, 2005, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to one mans scammer is another mans wife, posted by jim c on Mar 19, 2005
Jim, Your many posts seems to cover all the bases. I have been unable to post here lately, but this entire thread has proved to be informative as well as entertaining. Naturally, I can say that, because I was not the one being strung along. Frankly, I am trying to learn by not repeating the same mistakes as some of you guys. But, I am sure that I will still make some mistakes along the way. Wondered why you hadn't been posting. Don't worry, you may suffer a setback ot two (any man here who says he didn't is either a liar or the luckiest gallout in the world), but in the long run you'll do fine. I got confidence in ya, boy! Jim, I was not planning to post my experience about Gina, I was going to let it go and forget about it, since I already have a GF in Cali. But when mudd told me what he saw happen with the French guy and Gina I decided to do it after mudd did. I told the truth about Gina and I have no regrets. Too many guys cant seem to get their facts straight about what happened. I was not interested in Gina after I found out how much she lied to me and Nelson. I moved on with my life and even said a freindly hello to her when she was at Pete's place and at the mall. For the guys that dont agree with what I did that your problem. As I have said many times this board is a free exchange of information. I can truly say I didnt do it for revenge. Maybe one gringo will either be very cautious with her or avoid her comletely, then I accomplished what I set out to do. I hope this puts the whole thing to a rest and I wouldnt change a thing I did on this board. Nough said, Ben Title: Re: Dangerous territory ??? Ben, I sounds like you have moved on. That's a good sign. As the old chinaman said --- "Rots of Ruck"! ha I hope that you and your new girl are doing well. OkieMan Title: Re: Dangerous territory ??? [This message has been edited by Cali James] "I moved on with my life and even said a freindly hello to her when she was at Pete's place and at the mall." After reading your latest post, I think you may be a bigger red flag than her. (-: In person, you're giving her a friendly hello, but on the internet behind the safety of your keyboard and anonymity, your posting her name, her photo and making serious accusations against her. Doesn't seem like the actions of a guy who's moved on but more likely one who's bitter. Title: Re: Dangerous territory ??? [This message has been edited by beenthere] BenKramer, In your above post you wrote this: "I moved on with my life and even said a freindly hello to her when she was at Pete's place and at the mall." If you think she was a scammer, why didn't you have the balls to confront her face to face?? Why sit behind the safety of your keyboard and slam her behind her back over the internet?? Typical behavior of sour grapes, which in my view makes the accuser look worse than the so-called "scammer". Posting a woman's name and link to her picture and accusing her of being a scammer is a very low-class thing to do in my opinion, and it has happened here on more than a few occasions. So, we are to believe that a woman is a scammer just because BenKramer says so?? Who is BenKramer by the way?? Here's is the bottom line...the girl does NOT have a boyfriend...Jack is NOT her boyfriend. Does Jack not have access to the internet?? Who in their right mind would consider a woman his girlfriend when her picture and profile are on 2 marriage agency websites?? Why would Jack be upset that this girl was seeing other men?? If she was so "hot" for Jack as Pete states, why would she still keep her profile on the 2 sites. As JimC stated in an earlier post, she is just keeping her options open, waiting for a better deal. It happens all of the time in Cali, get used to it and don't take it so personal. The girl is no scammer, she just wasn't THAT attracted to you Ben (and please, I'm not bashing you, but I do know a little about this)...Jack, Ben, and Mudd all need to open their eyes to the realities, both positive and negative, to the agency scene. Good Luck in the future!! I would be careful Jim BenKramer will start calling you names now because you do not agree with him. Ben cannot handle it when people don't agree with him even when it is something so minor but he has made a mountain out of a mole hill. I guess Gina was lucky she did not show up after that could you think what he would be screaming about now? |
