Title: BAQ Translators, Lodging Post by: Looking4Wife on January 29, 2005, 05:00:00 AM I am planning on arriving in BAQ no later than April 30. As those of you who read my posts may recall, I am planning on using Jamie's agency. Jamie's price includes the following for my 1st 3 days: introductions (up to 40), my lodging, and 12 hours/day of translation. I can pay a daily rate ($145-twin bed) for Jamie's services/lodging after the first 3 days. If I want a King size bed, the rate becomes $180/day. Please don't forget it does include 12 hours of translation services AND further introductions if needed (but I think 40 intros will be more than enough don't you?) However I thought it couldn't hurt to poll the board for those experienced in BAQ, to see how I might be able to save daily expenses for lodging and translation after my first 3 days with Jamie. I plan on staying 11 additional days after my first 3 with Jamie. Please keep in mind, I speak no Spanish (un poco :-) other than what I have started learning from tapes while planning my trip. Obviously safety, as well as price, is a huge concern. A hotel with a pool would be nice, as it provides another "dating" activity or a place to hang out with a latina. |
