[This message has been edited by utopiacowboy] Much of it depends on the service center you go through. I read of one guy whose fiance petition was approved in Vermont after 3 weeks. When you add on the NVC processing and the embassy process, his novia could be with him in another 3-4 months. My own process with my wife back in late 2003 took 6 months start to finish. Some may exaggerate and say longer. But, I'd wager less than half that time--if you're careful and thorough. Check out www.visajourney.com They have LOADS of info. on time lines. And the forums are flush with people engaged in the K-1/K-3/CR-1 visa process from around the world. Out. |
