Title: Maracaibo Venezuela Post by: CartagenaPapito on December 29, 2004, 05:00:00 AM Just received today an email flyer from an agency that is going there now on tours. Seems like a good alternative and I would imagine all the low flying fruit is still there waiting to be plucked. Anyone been to this city?
Okie this could be a good alternative for you. Title: Been There Post by: valleydude on December 29, 2004, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Maracaibo Venezuela, posted by CartagenaPapito on Dec 29, 2004
Well it's nice to see that I can finally say that. I was just there in September and November of this year. I went there to see a girl and I have mixed emotions about it right now. I had a good time, but I was with her. As I am writting this, I am trying to look at it with hindsight and some things that I thought were good, would be different if I was there by myself. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them. Have Fun! Ok. Do you have the information concerning this new agency? I don't know if it would be a viable alternative for me, but I sure want to check it out. I don't know about Maracaibo, but I have heard that Caracas is very expensive. Now, I will admit I have not been to Venezuela, but that is what I hear. If this should turn out to be a good thing, then great! From what I know about Venezuela, the women are hot. However, I will be the first to admit that most of my exposure to Venezuela and several other LA countries is the Miss Universe Pagaent. Needless to say, that is not a very realistic way to gauge what the available, "everyday" girls would be. But, still, I am curious. Please send me the info. From what I know, it is a center of their oil industry. Actually given what I've been seeing on TV lately, could Venezuela be a bit too dangerous and unstable to visit, at least if there are alternatives? It seems to hover on a brink of civil war for quite some time. I do realize that Colombia already does have a civil war, but it seems that the major cities at least are secure. |
