Tess & I left southern California at 7:45 am and landed in Juneau, Alaska at 3:00 pm. This is a very beautiful place. Very much green and beautiful mountains and water. I think we're gonna like it here. We'll be headed up to Skagway on Sunday. That's a 6 hour trip on the Alaska State Ferrie. Then on to Haines, Then back to Juneau for 4 days. Sunday is Tess' birthday. We'll write more later. I can't describe it in words how pretty it is. It's indeed the last frontier. The coldest place i've even been so far but it's worth it. Lots of Cruise ships just arrive so people are all around not just americans but people all over the world like French, Russians, Australians, Japanese etc. We will sail tomorrow to another city called Skagway. So it's another new adventure for us. So far we've used four rolls of film...lol By the way, I found a filipino restaurant so I am very happy. To Jeff S, Dave H, Jim & Sally, Daryll & Mizza we've sent you postcards. More later.... Hi Stephen and Tess, Make sure you eat some fish heads for me! Stick around for a few months and see how Tess likes it in December. "Very much white and ice and can't see the beautiful mountains.
