Anybody have some recommendations for doctors in Cali for breast augmentation.I am not looking for just the cheapest but prefer someone with good credentials and a high quality of results.Thanks.

Me and my wife had work done by Dr.Bernardo A. Mera Fernandez, He one of the best in Cali.

The Dr. was Recommended to us by an operating room nurse that works assisting surgeons, and said that he would be the only Dr. She would have do any work on her.

My wife had brest and lipo done, I had my nose and lipo.
For me to let anybody do a nose job he has to be the best. If a docter screws up on your nose, there is no hiding it, that how munch I trust this guy.

My girl used Dr. Hernando Florez Clinica Santillana Phone 551-8277.

We visited many different Doctors. He has quite a following.

He does not advertize. All his business is by word of mouth.

He does excellent work. He does surgerys all day long and sees patients at night.

All the surgeons seem to charge similar rates, but the quality of the work vaires.

Here is the name of a Dr. that I met personally while I was in Cali. He was trained( residency) in Jamaica Hospital Queens, New York. He was then offered a partnership as a plastic surgeon in California, but turned it down to start his own clinic in Cali. I think the guy speaks 4 different languages French, German, Spanish, and English and his english has no accent. CLINICA DEL PACIFICO medical director Dr. Julian B. This Dr. really impressed me and I think his rates are reasonal as rates go. I know of a few people who used him and his work is top notch.

You are correct. We must have too much time on our hands.
I wish i could give you some helpful imfo. I do not remember the doctors name. Her was near cosmo central and i can tell you , he was very detailed. He explained the procedure to my wife , and to my surprise, explained it to me in perfect english . My wife had the "teardrop implants" saline, which are supposed to be more natural looking. He did a great job and  they were not hard like a lot of implants. I will look at my old credit card statements and see if there is a name . It cost me about 1200 US , which i thought was very good. This was in 2002

Please let me know if you can.I have heard of the teardrop type here in the states and was not sure if they could be had in Colombia.Sounds like they are.Cool.They do look very real and I am glad to hear they are not hard.An address,name or phone number would be great.Thanks.

Hundreds done everyday here in the US. it was a typo error, But the question asked was "WHERE TO FIND A GOOD SURGEON IN CALI FOR A BOOB JOB "  The other post was talking aout how Brazil has the best plastic surgeons and does a lot of breast reductions and forget Cali. This guy was asking about surgeons in Cali for a Boob job, which is not complicated and there are many good doctors  in Cali.
And i know what i am talking about my friend, because i was with my wife for her BOOB JOB IN CALI !!. So unless you have been there and been present for the procedure, i suggest you shut your mouth because YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT !!!

I saved a graphic from the online newspaper a couple of wks ago. I don't know why, it's just one of those oddball articles that caught my attention. Maybe a little voice was telling me it would come in handy some day.

Anyway, in 2002 in the US, there were nearly 300,000 augmentation and reconstructive breast surgeries performed by board-certified surgeons. About 220,000 were augmentations. I don't know what reconstructive entails but I'd guess it's primarily for mastectomies?

The numbers are increasing rapidly, WAY beyond population growth.

What would Dr. Statistics say? Probably that you're both right depending on how many surgery days in a year: it averages over a thousand operations a day but not thousands and thousands. ;-)

The highest number of breast REDUCTION surgeries in the world are carried out in Brazil. So if you want to make something smaller sounds like that's the place to go.
