Title: Getting Your Wife To The US Post by: tobar on July 24, 2001, 04:00:00 AM I need some information on how long it will take to get your wife to the US after filing an I130. I have tried the I129 but the approved petition got lost in transit (mail) in 1999, the Embassy in Manila never received it, then attempts to get this refiled have been stuck in limbo. I am now ready to just get married in the PR and file an I130. I have heard that my fiancee can come to the US and wait for the I130 to be processed instead of waiting in the PR, is this true? Is there a good immigration attorney I can consult in the US?
