Title: Do women want a man with a plan?
Post by: ManOnTheStreet on August 13, 2003, 04:00:00 AM
So you call your female companion and say, "So, what do you feel like doing tonight"? How does she respond? Do you know what she really is thinks about you after asking that question?

Interesting thread, guys, you can see how pussified the American male has become. Of course you have to have a plan.  Make the reservations and just do it.  However, you must use some fore thought, pick a place she will like, be creatve, donīt go to the same old place, the element of surprize is great for a woman.  But make sure she knows what clothes to wear, major mistake for a woman to over or under dress for the occasion.

Surprize her within reason, bad surprizes are not what she wants.

Earlier this year I took a senorita on a trip out of Santiago, she had no idea where we going until we checked in at the airport. I knew she liked the place because she had talked about the city before.  It pays dividends to actually listen to them once in awhile!!

When you are dating a latin woman, it is OK to be a man again!!

What kind of english is this?! If you want a serious answer to your posts why not write out in clear and argued english the meaning and relevance of your topic.

Maybe you think there is something so cool about your usage. In fact it is completely uncool and an assault upon the senses.

Why this cheap street lingo!!!

Cr@p!

Oh ya. Plan is confidence and girls, especially in LA stick to the man that drives. So make plans, she will be happy to tag along wherever it is you plan to go/do.

I can only speak for me, however "YES".  A man with a plan shows a strong... determined... knows what he wants... etc. etc.  This is very conforting, provides safty/protection feeling of someone with a plan that can come through in thick and thin and take care of us feeling.  However, being spontanious at times is an exciting part that should not be excluded....  but these are only my feelings on the matter.

Well, I will admit that I did not know this. I was your "typical" nice guy accomodating every female and they in turn disappeared from my radar. I was trying to please her and that "her" at the time was completely turned off by my niceness. Yep, big "L" on my forehead. Your post says it in a nutshell. No more Mr. Nice guy. Thanks for your post.

I am sorry that you have had to go through this.  You are not alone in your experience.

I will, however be cautious in the future about posting messages here.  I do not want to be misunderstood.  How you got "in a nutshell" no more Mr. Nice guy is beyond me.

I do appologize however if I ever offend or give any of you the incorrect idea.  I am not interested in the "Bad guys".  After many bad experiences of not seeing the bad guy underneath the wolf's clothing, I admit I completely adore the "Mr. Nice guy", and I have alot of admiration and respect for him and what he must go through to sift through the "other side" of thorns.  I know there are many wonderful men out there, and someday I hope to find one of these that fit with me.

I have to disagree, I belief a "person" with a plan (not forgetting the spontanious side)is a more rounded, organized, and held together.  They are more confident, and happy.  (for the hope to not be mis-understood.... this does not mean that every night or date or day needs to be planned out... or their whole life needs to be on a spreadsheet... hahaha BUT.. It takes two to stay together, make things work and give imput...!!!!)))

Hope this helps "clear up" any pre-misconceptions, or pre-judging.  I do not belief any of you know me very well, or has the ability to "read between the lines" or see my words in "a nutshell".  Beijos!!!!

Hi man on the street,

many men do not have plans.

that is why they FAIL to find a good wife.

Women ALWAYS have plans....that is why they mostly succeed in thier "game".

I have not one plan....but a whole system of plans!!

;-)
