Title: Nebraska INS Post by: Ken2 on July 28, 2003, 04:00:00 AM I recieved a reciept and a letter from the INS today. I guess her Visa should be approved mid December at the latest. Someone gave me false info. when stating that I would not hear from the INS till 2004. Initially I heard back from the in 10 days.

Actually, Craig was making a bad joke about how the whole process is so slow you might as well not plan on it being before 2004. I am sorry that you took him literally. I think some of the regular posters forget that not everyone here knows the personalities of the posters and knows when they are joking. Glad you got a response so quickly. Good luck. What was wrong was how you interpreted the answer. Hearing back from the INS is what you asked. Did you mean the first NOA or the 2 NOA? I thought you were referring to an approval or disapproval of your I-129 (2nd NOA). Not the form letter they send you after they cash your check and stick your application in a bin for 6 months till someone gets the urge to look at it for 2 minutes. |
