Title: A new type of green shark Post by: jim c on July 18, 2003, 04:00:00 AM It is allways interesting to view the green fins that sometimes appear during controversy. even though the issue was a tempest on a tea pot. Yet, we had a struggle for territory and the # 1 bull shark position, (even though no sexual consortion was mentioned.) Concern over posting a photo of someone we knew? ( subtle indication of feelings of disappointment or betrayal "You went to HIS apartment? ") A Morality play over the whiting out of a man vs the showing of a midriff of a chica (note: not mujeres they were all chicas). Deep concern of some, over the posting of womens photos while dressed. ( on the internet how boreing!!) An interesting and informative note that some are posting under annonamous circumstances "I didn't know you were posting under that name". ( I am shocked) The yea buts abounded during the threads. Even our recent bad boy found a way to resume attacks on perceived enemies, although without much cleverness. I don't know about you but for me it was an earth shattering experience Cali Pro was just doing what calipro does, entonces? I have met him he looks good enough to carry it off, so whats the problem Ladies? He likes what he likes, and does it his way. More power to him. If you had the youth, energy, looks, money and time what would you do? Hold bible classes? [This message has been edited by Cali James] This may all come down to perspective. I think for the majority of the rank and file here, the posting of CaliPro's amigas is no big deal. Most guys have seen a thousand agency photos posted out on the internet somewhere and for those who've been to Cali, the sexy look of Calenas is par for the course. I understand this perspective, "what's the big deal, it's not like they're nude". On the other hand, lest we forget, there's another perspective, it's the perspective of the gals who had their photos taken in the company of CaliPro. I can't speak for his amigas but I know what my past Calena amigas or my now Calena wife would due to me, should I post personal photos of our times together, out on the internet for all my planet-love buddies to gawk at!! Now it may be true that some of these girls are models and perhaps a different standard should apply, but I don't think it takes a genious to realize that some of the chicas wouldn't like it. If anyone's not sure about this point, turn to your Colombian spouse or novia and ask her what she thinks of her photo up on the internet with all the planet-love guys to see. Then mention that some of the PL guys, after noting similarities in dress and attire, wondered if perhaps some of the girls were prostitutes, see what her reaction is then. I think Ralph and Goergina said it best, this is really all about respect for the women. Posting personal photos in public without permission is not only a poor idea but disrespectful. CaliPro was right to white out his face, I would never post my own picture here. I think his stated reason was not out of fear of being kidknapped but rather the desire to stear clear of all the strange gringos who travel South. To bad the women weren't offered the same choice..... He feels that they are close friends of his and owes it to them to tell them about the photos. He could have really screwed me around posting all kinds of bull on the board and calling all kinds of people in Cali, if the women he owes his allegiance to hadn't ratted him out and told me who he was.
