Title: To Married guys
Post by: Landover on June 15, 2003, 04:00:00 AM
Dr Jonas Salk says one should use logic as an aid in their decision making but ultimately rely on intuition when making a decision, such as our decision ultimately whether to marry a Colombiana.  Your best Intuition or listening to your second voice is greatest he notes when you first wake up in the morning. This is interesting. Lately have read George Bush uses intuition as a second religion in his decision making. Anyway, any insights from you guys who married a Colombian senorita on your gut instincts or any second thoughts. Is it normal to think, or did you often think what the heck am I doing?  Maybe just concern over the different country thing is normal.

It's best not to rely on intuition when deciding "TO marry a woman," but use it when deciding "NOT TO marry a woman;" given that your intuition is usually pretty good.

Keep this in mind, Latinas can be very intuitive beings when they want to be, and they know how to apeal to men.
Their strenghts, which can be used for good or bad, are to appeal to a man's ego, emotional needs, and physical needs, which will make a guy feel like mega bucks in a short period of time. Then, they can be experts at making the guy feel desparate to marry quickly. Don't do it.

Always use your big head and heart when deciding about such matters.

Well considering most of us don't have the luxury of getting to know our women as well as we would like, for as long as we would like before we marry them, I think you HAVE to go on intuition to a certain degree.  Of course logic comes into play, but some of it has to be going with your gut.  In my case, even though I saw my wife exhibit good character, intelligence and personality in the time during we dated, what really gave me the confidence to marry her was her smile.  She has a wonderful smile and I just felt like someone with a smile like hers couldn't be a bad wife.

I am not talking about her smiling at anything specific, but rather the smile she almost always has on her face.
