Title: Visas may be suspended Post by: DallasSteve2 on June 10, 2003, 04:00:00 AM There is a proposed bill in the US House of Representatives that would suspend most visas, including the K1, and adjustments of status until the new immigration department can get caught up on its workload (will that ever happen?). You may review the proposed bill online at http://thomas.loc.gov/. Enter HR2235 under the bill number. Type H 2235! This bill has only one cosponsor! It has no chance to get out of committee! It will not even be considered for a hearing. Actually, it was only introduced to seek fed gov't reimbursements to local gov’t for funds distro to local INS detainees.
