Title: Anti US demonstrations in Bogota today Post by: Michael B on March 28, 2003, 05:00:00 AM News story says 1500 (more or less) protesters, cops broke them up with tear gas and rubber bullets. Anybody down there see it in person? A couple of days ago (Tuesday, I think) there was also a smaller, non-violent protest in Bogota.

...and on Friday about 700 college students (some naked) also marched toward the capital. How derivative! The Chileans did that 2 or 3 weeks ago. Yeah, that's the incident I was talking about, except the report I saw said 1500 people total, maybe 20 of them nude. |
