I like her a lot. And she said she liked me a lot too.We got on the subject of income and her expectations after marriage, etc. She thinks the man should foot all the bill and she should not have to work after marriage and until the kids are in high school. Just like her mother did. She is an IT professional.High income. So I asked her what income she expects her man to have. She said 80-100K
That disqualified me since I am only at 60K. That night was our last date and I felt hurt. How many $(*&#*&#$ hoops does a guy have to jump through? Isn't 60 close enough to 80.? I think we all went through this at some point of time. Yes it hurts. But you know what: I think it is for the better. Now you have an opportunity to go and find a wonderful lady for yourself in the land of opportunities down south. She will probably never beat the income of that IT professional you dated but she will make you a happy man. |
