Title: Good news- weird news Post by: donb2222 on January 22, 2001, 05:00:00 AM My fiance received packet 3 last week, that is the good news.
The weird news is that I received another approval notice in the mail today. This one has all the same information as the first one except this one has a different receipt number. Apparently the Manila embassy will receive this second petition about the same time as they receive my fiances filled out packet 3. What kind of problems will this create? I did not send in a second petition- I only sent in the original one. It would be nice if I could call the TSC to clear this up- but we all know that is almost impossible. Thanks, Don Title: Re: Good news- weird news Post by: Barry on January 24, 2001, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Good news- weird news, posted by donb2222 on Jan 22, 2001
Don, Great to hear this...I suppose this is the green light for your trip to Cebu. I'll be thinking about you and Vilma. Try to have some fun this time on this trip. Just kidding....Please say hello to Vilma and her friends. Maybe one day......Looking forward to your return and meeting Vilma. Don, I am thinking it will probably be alright. However, double-check the "A-number" that they assigned on each NOA. As long as it's the same identical A-number, it should be ok. That A-number follows your fiancee' for years afterward, throughout her journey with the INS (you will put it on many forms later), so it's important that it not be screwed up. Congrats on the approval (finally, right ?) ;-) Regards, Tim Title: Re: Re: Good news- weird news Post by: donb2222 on January 25, 2001, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Good news- weird news, posted by Tim on Jan 23, 2001
Thanks Tim, the "a-numbers" are different, I will be in Manila next week, will stop by the embassy and see if I can fix this. Don |
