I don't follow the Russian board or know much about it,but I have never heard a single Russian women success story,I have heard lots of horror stories. There must be success stories also. There are exceptions but I think most latinas are basically honest and have good values, which they get from a strong family and religious influence. So I think on the whole they are better bets than the Russians. Also there is the attractiveness factor. Some guys like the tall blonde white skinned look.Give me a tanned skinned 5'2" Colombiana with a nice bubble butt any day.Actually that is just what I was looking for and just what I found. And this little Colombiana is a very good person also.(Maybe a little stuborn??) Pete Title: Re: To Hell if we don't change our ways... Wizard, I did the FSU thing and was married to a RW for over 3 years. Now I have a wonderful Latina wife from Cali. The Russians are beautiful but that is about it in my opinion. The climate is warmer in Latin America in more ways then one. I have a friend who is happy with his Russian wife, but it is his second. The 1st one had him thrown in jail for a false domestic violence charge in an attempt to get her green card quick and then run off. I have another friend who is also divorced from his RW but also is now happily married to a cali girl for 5 years. Latin America is so much better you can't imagine.. Do yourself a favor and stay out of Eastern Europe. Wayne Title: Do we have a convert? Bill,
You should start studying Spanish also. If you've already put in considerable effort and made progress in learning Russian, you'll be throwing that effort out the window. I think you can find a good woman in any part of the world (including the USA). Where you look should be based on personal preference. I like Latin women because they tend to be more conservative than American women (but of course there's going to be overlapping degrees in both places). My decision was based on having dated a Mexican woman who I met in San Diego for several months. Perhaps if I had met a Russian woman, I would have went in that direction. It all just depends on what you want. Travel would probably be less expensive and less of a hassle with Latin America versus East Europe. If you have the time and money, perhaps you should make a trip to get your feet wet. If not, you might try corresponding. I think TLC still sells a quarterly catalog with several hundred ladies. I used them years ago and met my wife through them. You'll want to write to quite a few ladies since the response rate os not going to be very good. Which ever service you pick, be sure they have large discounts for quantities of addresses and write to a lot of them. I think SOTB (South Of The Border) also sells large quantities of addresses cheaply. You'll probably get anecdotal evidence of one agency or another generating a better response rate for particular men, but unless they written to a large number of ladies from more than one service (like a hundred or so) the comparison isn't going to be too valid in my mind. Just pick someone who's been around a while and offers good discounts. Before you do anything though, be sure you really want to make a switch. You already know the lay of the land in Eastern Europe. You'd be starting over again with Latin ladies. Eastern Europe is just so far away. I think I'm just testing the waters. |
