Title: Filipino Christmas Traditions
Post by: Ray on December 22, 2004, 05:00:00 AM
It’s been a few years since I spent Christmas in the PI, but I always enjoyed the local traditions during the holidays. I guess we’re lucky here in San Diego to have some of those traditions, like Simbang Gabi (early morning mass) and parol (lantern/stars), but I imagine that you don’t see that stuff in most parts of the U.S.

For all the Filipino readers, I was curious which Christmas traditions from the Philippines that you miss most of all.

Hey Ray,
The first time that I was in the Phils was during
christmas time. All those christmas mechanical displays around
Manila was something to see. Well merry Christmas
       to and the wife.
