We have another bun in the oven and the Misses is craving a particular brand of corn beef from the Ph. Any help is appreciated, she won't go the pickled eggs I suggested. [This message has been edited by Michael B] Almost all the canned corned beef sold in US stores is from either Argentina or Brazil....look at the label of some of the 'American' national brands like Hormel or Swift. Pick up one of those and she won't know the difference. Of course I don't advocate trying to hide it from her or tricking her, just say "Honey, this is as close as I could find, give it a try". [This message has been edited by don2222] Argentina corned beef is just a brand name, probably made here in the Phils from carabao. Many brand names here are deceiving, the Fresh Milk brand here is neither fresh nor is it real milk, it is just watered down milk with sugar. Most products made in the Phils have a lot of added sugar and salt. She is probably craving the corned beef made only here in the Phils.
