O.K., now I understand, but that seems like such a waste of good tuba. My plan was to drink half of the tuba while I was mixing the other ingredients in my tabo, which would work O.K. if I was using fresh dilis. Then I would use the kinilaw ng dilis for pulutan while I was drinking the rest of the tuba (hic!)... sarap! :-) Ray Title: pprrrttttttttttt..... Yeah, that stuff tastes good, but that's probably why you had that big worm in your guts when you came home from your trip. If the fish or squid or whatever isn't VERY fresh and prepared properly, you can get real sick, especially if you're not used to eating it very often. If you are going to eat kinilaw (or Kilawin), then you should always wash it down with lots of Tanduay Rum, or tequila if you can find it... :-) Ray |
