Post by: Jun Encarnado74 on May 07, 2003, 04:00:00 AM I am wondering if any of you here knows if there are US-based engineering firms in the Philippines? well, I am a mechanical engineer, and considering in relocating to the philippines (my home country) and land a descent job there. i am employed here, but it is just my guts that tell me to try back home...by the way, i received my education here in the US and I am now a US citizen.

Jun, I have a few pals that are Detailers and Engineers @ Lear Corp here in Detroit (Dearborn Actually) My buddy said that they have opened a branch in Cebu. Now he knows as much about the Philippines as I do about doing a tune-up on a Space Shuttle, but I'd bet it's either Cebu or Metro-Manilla.
