Title: Update and Good-bye Post by: The Walker on April 24, 2003, 04:00:00 AM I will read no replies to this letter. Do not bother insulting us further. As soon as I send this I am striking the URL from our computer. The only way to reach us will be by email.
I have returned from the Philippines some time ago but I was so angry to reply here and Don told me to let things go away. But I did want to say one last good-bye to friends and noice people here. Too bad this place has been taken over by mean spirited people. It used to be a nice board. People are insulted like the Latin board now there is little civility. Patrick you have allowed your standards to slip I fear. My Aunt survived the injury but lost her kidney but she is lucky cos her other kidney is okay and will keep her alive. She almost died and was very bad for a long time. The Moros are rebelling again too now and taking hostages so be careful. Don is still in Iraq. He was slightly injured in a firedfight by Faydayeen commandos or someone like them that attacked his headquarters but is okay it was just a scratch. None of our people were killed but all of the bad men were killed. He has lost fifteen pounds. Then he went to halp find the bad men on the cards. He is now helping to guard all that money they found and some people tried to steal it. He is responsible for security where they moved it and they think there is much more out there. He does not like the job he would rather be out hunting the bad Iraqis on the cards some more but the general told hi he would have to do this as some American soldiers tried to take some of the money and Don is trusty enough not to take the money and strict enough to keep it safe for the poor people of Iraq. Jose' kept the ranch okay and I think we may sell it and retire we can live on our investments and money and Don's retirement and the profit from the sale of the farm and animals. I will miss my friend the bull but we will keep our horses. Jose' needs to retire as well as Maria and I think Don has changed his mind about retirement now too. Jose' and Maria get a part of the profit from the sale. Don wants to spend much more time with me and the rest of his family from now on and not worry about the farm. He is now over fifty and will not have to serve anymore unless the USA is attacked on our own land. I will gladly spend every day and night with him until I die. For our friends here we will miss you. Those of you who emailed us with condolences you may continue to email and I shall answer. As for the other mean people I hope you had a nice laugh because it is your last laugh. You are bitter and suspicious people and will come to little good. I pity any Filipina that has the misfortune to marry you. You were just jealous because I married a much better man than any of you. Patrick please remove all our lists and information from here. We will not be back again ever. Good-bye. I am Vicky, writing for me and Don. //////////////////////// Title: Re: Update and Good-bye Post by: Peter Lee on April 26, 2003, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Update and Good-bye, posted by The Walker on Apr 24, 2003
Hi Vicky Too bad you’re leaving, But I thought that Pat already cut you out of this post?? I wanted to ask Don if he was close to the 173rd Airborne Brigade North of Baghdad. I also wanted to find out how Don got permission to use his own civilian weapon. I tried that in Viet man coz I didn't like the AR15 they made us use. I ended up with the M17 , as it was more reliable but it wasn't worth a flip on automatic I also had an M79 but the ammo for dat was a drag. I had a pk33 I took with me in Okinawa but was issued the famous army 45 which couldn't hit the side of a barn at 30ft, when I ask why I couldn’t take my own they mumbled something about the ammo I was using wasn’t compatible with Army issue and no parts were available if it malfunctioned. I also had nightmares about me being redrafted in the Iraq war. The fact that they declared it a war could give the Army the authority to draft anyone they needed. When Don was recalled it got me worried. My skills in demolition and radio communication and forward air observer skills as a paratrooper would put me high on the recall list. I didn’t want to answer any phone calls I didn’t recognize on caller ID. I was wondering what happens to Don’s retirement pay when he was called back, what was Don’s MOS before he retired and where did he have his specialized training. Please contact me at perterlee@695online.com and we can exchange some war stories. Vicky as a Filipina did you know Don was such a super hero when you married him? I never told any gf of my old Army adventures coz it would sound unbelievable and bragging. I was wondering if you noticed if Don still moves his trigger finger in his sleep as I am told I do. Did Don have any flashbacks from past conflicts?. I seem to get you on the tail end of your posts. But it would be nice to contact you off this post if you are not coming back. Good Luck to you and Don and keep me informed on what is happening with the money that was stolen by our soldiers. I would declare all your posts questionable if I didn’t get any mail from you, so please send me a note. One last thing I remember Don told a story about using some Martial Arts and I wanted to get more detail about that. One last question, did Don take his Chemical war suit so he can help find a vaccine for the recent SARS epidemic? Title: A question for Peter Post by: lswote on April 26, 2003, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Update and Good-bye, posted by Peter Lee on Apr 26, 2003
Peter, I appreciate tongue in cheek humor as much as the next guy but when it is mixed with seriousness it is hard to tell one from the other. Your final comment "did Don take his Chemical war suit so he can help find a vaccine for the recent SARS epidemic?" seems to me to certainly be tongue in cheek, but earlier in the post you said "Please contact me ... and we can exchange some war stories." which seemed to be sincere. So how can you respect someone enough to want to have a sincere discussion with them and poke fun of them in an unflattering matter in the same post? I personally think "The Walker" and Vicky are frauds or exaggerations, so I am not taking offense for them, but rather I am confused about what your mind-set was in your post. . Some how I get a feeling that I won't get an answer from the Walkers. But if I do I will be able to explain my mail to them and they can correct me on any missed facts. I have read there posts along with all of you and being an ex- military man with 20 years in I was disturbed by the posts the first time I read them. Their posts were also serious and later beyond credibility. I am new to this post and don't feel mean spirited. My mind set was designed to get a response one way or the other and to see if they are real and if they can take the same medicine. And like most of us confused by their posts. Hello Vicky, I have followed Don's post since his days of going to the RP with his daughter to screen potential pen-pals and his final descision to make you his life partner. You must be independ of other's comments toward you or about you. You must learn to laugh at the idiocy but learn from wisdom but at the same time kept your equinimity which reminds me of Langston Hughes poem. Good luck to you and Don. May God bless you and your family and keep you safe. I am someone who felt that Vicky and The Walker were fictitious characters. This post confirms that something is amiss with this poster. That a man of the supposed fortitude of The Walker could be run off this board by a few doubting Thomases is laughable. A real "The Walker" would likely be asking his CIA buddies to get the home phone numbers of the non-believers or at the least post a weighty lambaste. This stick your tail between your legs and scampering off forever is just another sign that the whole thing was bogus. It might have been entertaining to read, but that doesn't mean it was real. But you have to admit that those stories were pretty funny Nathan. I think Vicky has a great sense of humor. Some of that stuff really cracks me up. I liked the part in her last post where she said Don had been placed in charge of security for that $600,000+ in U.S. currency they found in Iraq, because he is trusty enough not to take it. Then in the very next sentence she says they suddenly decided to sell the farm and retire now that they can live on their investments and money (ROTFLMGDAOTNTPIMGDP!). I guess a box or two of those hundred dollar bills would go a long way on retirement :-) I guess it’s all in fun, so why not have a good laugh over it. I beleived them for quite a while, but their last few posts have been a little beyond the relm of beleivelibity....take the current one...1st he's in combat---then he's on a special detail to track down 'most wanted' individuals---now he's guarding the money---any ONE of these would be beleiveable, but the same guy doing ALL of them? What are the other 249,999 troups doing, sitting around playing gin rummy with the special cards? What's he going to do next??--manage a field hospital? That is when he finds spare time from his duties of advising Gen. Franks and after he's done single handedly repairing all the trucks in the motor pool? I haven't read a lot of their past posts. But I did read about Walker being sent to the Middle East with his own firearm. Do they really let you take your own firearm at times like these? What I also can't understand is why him at his age? My husband and some of his friends, former AF and AF Reserves, were all waiting and wanting to be called after 9/11 but none of them were. His conclusion was they were all over 50. These guys are combat-experienced and highly trained pilots too. I seriously doubt it Mita (LOL) I almost choked and pissed my pants when I read that the Military recalled some guy out of retirement to active duty, commissioned him as an officer, flew him and his personal weapon (that the government had been storing at the local reserve center just in case we ever went to war again) on a special flight to Kuwait so they could stick him on top of the headquarters building to guard against intruders. Sounds like none of those hundreds of thousands of troops we had over there were qualified to stand guard duty so they had to recall HIM. I think somebody has a hell of an imagination :-) To me, the really amazing part is that apparently a few people here actually believed that story. Oh well... Ray Title: It Could Happen... Ray, What a coincidence! My husband just came home with another story from an old AF Reserve buddy who is now an executive of some big tech corp in Denver. This guy and his wife were watching CNN when it showed a C-130 landing somewhere and the guy blurts out, "that could be me flying that plane." Well, the wife goes into a frenzy about how he would do it over her dead body. My husband just laughed cause I told him the same thing after he said something about going if called. The fact is, as idealistic and patriotic as my husband is, his eyesight, his hearing (he worked the flight lines for years) and his back (his hips are fine) are not the same, certainly not up to par with that of a 20 year old Marine. That is reality. Title: Not that it matters Post by: wizard on April 24, 2003, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Update and Good-bye, posted by lswote on Apr 24, 2003
[This message has been edited by wizard] or that I care, but just as an observation, there are usually one or two outlandish characters floating around the three forums on PL... Histories and personas that test the limits of imagination... If these are real people, so be it, but my guess would be that we have a few frustrated authors honing their skills and manipulating forums members... They surface every now and then, taking on a new persona... Then they punch the buttons of forum members to illicit a response... Personally, I enjoyed reading posts by "The Walker"... They were usually entertaining... As time bore on though, they're stories seemed a little far-fetched to me... There were more than a few holes in the logic and reasoning behind their dialog... But hey, I'm a cynic by nature... I don't belive anything I read/hear and only half of what I see... If "The Walker" is a true family who has been slighted in some way, I regret it... If they were merely the figment of someones imagination, then NEXT... Personally, I think the former is true... PS: I had to edit this post just to make a point. I never wrote an inflamatory post regarding "The Walker"... For those keeping score... Title: Bye Vicky... Yeah, I don’t know why there are so many mean spirited people here who are so bitter and suspicious. Maybe Vicky is right. They are just jealous because she married a much better man than any of them? Anyway, it’s never hard to figure out where Don is and what he’s up to. If you just watch the evening news on TV, you can usually get a pretty good idea. For example, on yesterday’s evening news I saw the military chasing down the bad Iraqis on the cards, I saw video of Marines guarding the millions of dollars in cash that they found, and I heard about the American soldiers who were accused of trying to take some of the money. I guess it’s all just a strange coincidence that he’s always right there in the middle of it all... :-) Ray Title: Re: Re: Re: Bye Vicky... Don may have been secretly assigned to a team in China to help find a vaccine for SARS. He could have a double in Iraq to keep up his image. It could be that his stories were to create doubt and confusion so he would be free to go to China escaping News media coverage. All this could be asked not to reveal sources as national security could be at stake. Vicky could have been told that information that she gives could jeopardize Don’s mission and that is why she is really saying good bye. Yeah, that is why she said there are so many mean spirited people here who are so bitter and suspicious. She had to say that to hide Don’s real mission. So don’t you guys worry, “Now you know the rest of the story.” Title: Re: Re: Re: Bye Vicky... Post by: bryan on April 25, 2003, 04:00:00 AM Title: Re: Re: Re: Re: Bye Vicky... [This message has been edited by Dave H] Hi Ray, I will respond to you since Vicky isn't taking replies. I don't think all of the blame should be placed on the 'nonbelievers.' I haven't seen any photos, gotten any emails, phone calls or met in person. This isn't like belief in Jesus Christ, which not everyone believes either. IMHO that is where all of their problems began. When you lead a 'secret life,' changing names, residence, etc., and then talk about your exploits, it is very hard to appear credible. So many details have to be changed...the reader often wonders what is fact and what is fiction...even the reality of the 'secret life' itself. It's kind of like telling a lie, inconsistencies and errors are going to crop up and people are going to notice. How are we bad just because we have low IQ's but were paying attention? LOL Dave H. I have to agree with you. Like I said before, I have nothing against the Walkers. I just don't believe all of their stories. Just posting a Yahoo or Hotmail e-mail addy would have given them a little more credibility. All this 'secret agent' nonsense is always going to draw a few wise cracks and that should be expected. If some others want to believe all that stuff they posted, then that's fine with me too. If anyone out there has served in the Navy or Marine Corps, then they know what "sea stories" are. That's the way I take a lot of the Walker tales, just harmless sea stories. I didn't see anything evil or extremely obnoxious about their stories, just hilarious sometimes because of the obvious exaggerations. The Walkers have almost always been polite and respectful to the other members here and their posts made entertaining reading. I even agreed with a lot of Don's political views :-) Some people think that Don & Vicky were the same person. I don't know, I suppose that's possible. I can see enough variation in their grammar and writing style to give them the benefit of the doubt that they are indeed separate individuals. Now as far as Elder & Younger daughters, that's a whole different subject :-) Ray Title: East Coast - West Coast Post by: Dave H on April 25, 2003, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Good points Dave, posted by Ray on Apr 24, 2003

Find a cool tempered one or else I would suggest you buy a steel bedroom door with a keyless sliding bolt lock. Nothing like watching a knife penetrate through a door. =8oO The fork is only used by Latinas to distract, confuse, and anger you...similar to a Picador using a lance in a bullfight. The large kitchen knives are reserved for the actual attempt at a kill. :o))) I joke about it now, but it wasn't too cool at the time! I was almost stabbed in the stomach in front of my 2 and 7 year old sons! If she has a hot temper, keep the knives in a drawer, not in a countertop knife block! Since I won't hit or become physical (only in the bedroom LOL)with a woman, I am at a huge disadvantage! I have several nice wounds on my hands from blocking and grabbing knife blades. Dave H. Hey Dave, I still don't get it, just because fester has a low IQ. If I need a good laugh I come here. If anybody is credible on this board, I give the crediblity to only a hand few. So have a good laugh it's good for you. joemc Title: Hey Joe! Hi Uncle Fester, I don't get that chicken and egg thing either...makes no sense! :o))) At least you and I don't take ourselves so seriously...even if we are real (1 M-A and 3 P-L/M-A members have seen me and my Purple G-string live, up close and personal). :o))) This place, with all of it's different personalities, is always good for a laugh among other things. :oD Dave 'Fester Jr.' H. The chicken came before the egg it is only common sense. Just think thousands os years ago if a caveman saw an egg laying on the ground he would of cracked it open and ate it so it only makes sense the chicken was here first. I really found it hard to believe Walker when he said he flew down to Buenos Aires on a private plane to do Bull sperm business. I know his supposed friend was there for business but how can he one minute be living practically homeless from his own stories then jet-setting the world. Plus wasn't he sent to Iraq to protect headquarters which were actually in Qatar? Also I have never been in the military but doesn't the orders go down the chain of command. I doubt the General is going to go to Walker and say hey Walker you do this for me man, I just can't trust any of these other guys Walker you will single handedly win this war. Walker look Iraqi snipers oh no Walker they're going to get me. Walker' don't worry general you are safe you have the Walker pow pow pow, see no Iraqis left. Walker you are the best here is a silver star, congressional medal of honor, plus three purple hearts for diving in front of me and taking those bullets. Walker for president Walker for president hip hip hooray hip hip hooray. Title: Gee...I Feel Like A Loser... Hi Stefang, I take some posts on P-L with a grain of salt. I may find them doubtful, but no harm done. I enjoy their entertainment value. But...as soon as someone posts they had their nut sack torn off and sewed it back on themselves with a sterilized boot lace and a leatherman...I'm going to scream BULLSH...IT!!! :o))) Thanks for confusing me even more about the chicken and the egg...yet at the same time, your answer has brought resolution and peace to my mind. ;o))) Dave H. I think I'm a loser too since I am like a baby if I get an ingrown toe nail. If I get into playing roles like war games I will tell my wife and she can capture me and interrogate me as a POW he he he. Title: Forget Pain and Torture!
