'Vampire' owns cellular phone AFTER its picture was printed and distributed just anywhere in Davao City, the fast becoming popular "aswang" (vampire) has again caught the fascination of Dabawenyos. With high-tech communication gadgets available to almost everybody, the story of the aswang having a cellular phone spread like wildfire. People who obtained the aswang's number claimed that when they tried calling the number, a male answers the phone in a voice that's deep and mysterious as if coming from a grave. "Pagtubag nya wala syay sulti-on kundi ungol lang. Tapos ibaba dayon," said a student who called the supposed aswang's mobile phone.
