Once you enter France, you can go to any other EU country because there is no passport check when crossing the border between two EU nations. I had heard of Turkey, but Cyprus is new. Either one seems to be a splended place to vacation. Hamlet Title: Cyprus.... Post by: Philb on April 27, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: From personal experience...., posted by Hamlet on Apr 27, 2005
Yeah, it is very nice. A little expensive, but not exorbitantly so. I was there a year a go. I went with a woman from Ukraine. There are some requirements in regards to a citizen of the FSU getting a visa , but nothing extreme. The girl I was seeing took photo copies of her round trip tickets from Kiev, a copy of the receipt for lodging reservations (this was nothing more than an email) when she applied for the visa, and I think that this was pretty much it. If you want to check a specific country, try this site: http://www.delta.com/travel/plan/international_travel/visa_passport_info/index.jsp Title: Re: Re: Countries that will give visas to Russians Post by: Hamlet on April 27, 2005, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Countries that will give visas to Ru..., posted by TwoBitBandit on Apr 27, 2005
Thanks for this reference. However, this site is worthless for my purposes. It only indicates whether a visa is required for a Russian to visit various countries, not the likelihood that one will be issued. So when I inquired if a Russian can visit the US, the search engine indicated that the Russian could do so with a visa. |
