Thanks for the helpful comments in response to my orginal post.

In shopping around at Christmas time I found the following:

A "7 in 1 Game Set" under the brand name RBM.  It was distributed by Carson Pirie Holdings and Affiliates, Birmingham, Alabama.  Made in China, of course.

I bought it at an upscale department store.  The sticker price was $36.00, but was selling for $12.95.

It is very miniature and compact and includes:

1) Magnetic Backgammon
2) Chess
3) Checkers
4) Dominoes
5) 2 Decks of cards
6) 5 Poker Dice
7) 5 Casino Dice
8) 60 Poker chips

Seems to be just what I was looking for.
Now, I have to learn how to play some of the games.
