Title: $'s for visa to Ukraine at present Post by: Frank O on July 19, 2004, 04:00:00 AM I am looking into getting my visa for Ukraine as I will be going in the next several weeks. Are the prices currently in the $190+ price range? So far I've seen $190 & $200 for 11 day service. I remember the first time I went it was like $120, of course that was 1 1/2 years ago.

do it yourself its a lot cheaper. I mailed mine to the consular in NY (and i live in Florida by the way), I got it back in 7days. I didn't pay for any 3 day proc. either. If i remember correctly it cost me $128 including shipping. The logical *source* of the information?? Of course, I mean the Ukraine Embassy in Washington, or the Ukraine Consulates in Chicago, New York, or San Francisco??? Any one of the 4 websites would provide you a definitive answer to your question. However, you will have to decide upon the type of visa you want and the type of service (expedited or otherwise). Here Frankie, I'll even do some of your legwork for you: * Ukraine Embassy in Washington - http://www.ukremb.com/ One presumes that even YOU are able to follow a few links. hey dude thanks for the info. But hey if I'm reading this right it says $100 for the visa?! Is THAT correct? Why do the other services charge $90? Is that their upcharge/profit?! Or am I missing some other "fee"? Title: Gee Post by: MarkInTx on July 20, 2004, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Thanks Dan but one question..., posted by Frank O on Jul 19, 2004
I remember awhile back some old crotchety guy from Denver taking Oscar to task for publishing stuff he read on a website... Telling him not to believe everything he read... Funny how times change... Want to get into a pissing match about our respective memories of what the other said??? I'd take great relish in recalling the many, many, many contradictory posts you've made over the years. Are you sure you REALLY want to go there? And BTW - I'm, not at all crotchety. Where's you get that idea?!? Title: Re: Now Mark, Do You - of All People - Really . . . At the consular sites, there is a $100 static application fee if you want standard (defined as 9-day) processing. If you want it faster - say 3-day processing, then you have a static fee of $200. Beyond that, you will pay more for a double-entry visa and more yet for a multiple entry visa. But of course, if you actually visited the Consular sites, you already knew that. So your question must be aimed at comparing the Embassy fees with some of the third-party fees - which you stated in your initial post is something like $190-200 for 11-day processing. Here you have a direct comparison - so what, exactly, is your question? Seems you already have the answers you sought - so what is the point of persistent questions? To hear yourself yet again?
