Try the "Red Lobster", no it's not the American chain variety---this one is owned by a former sea captain, good food/prices(three yrs. ago). Lots of restaraunts on the boardwalk at the pavillion on the beach---flag a car, everyone knows where it is---music from the open-air discos can be a bit loud in sections. No, sorry. But any taxi driver will know what you are looking for and the bus system makes regular runs to and from there in the season. As memory serves me, you will travel North-East from the harbor area thru some pretty run-down industrial areas before reaching the pavillion. You will be dropped off at the parking lot and then walk around to the cafe's etc. As far as the beach goes, there is not much to it right there----it's more like a boardwalk.
