Title: very short trip report... Post by: BrianN on April 24, 2002, 04:00:00 AM Out to my driveway this evening.
Ex brings over stuff for our daughter, and asks me to get some things out of the back of her truck. She says, there's a girl in there, just don't invite her in ok? We're in a hurry to get back. Oh ok, no problem. Walk outside to the truck, it's dark, and there in the passenger seat is this beautiful filipina illuminated by the interior light, mid-30's I guess, and she's looking at me with one huge smile, (more like I'm the best thing since pancit was invented). Oh dam, where did this come from? Heck, she looks like my ex's sister, only about 15 years younger. And she's staring at me and won't quit. Introduce self, quickly, don't stare, don't look at that dazzling smile of hers, act busy, just get the stuff and get back in the house... quick! Get stuff after much jockeying out of the back of the extended cab, and polite exchanges of smiles and a few words. But she's still staring! Wow, she's beautiful. Her hair is perfectly jet black, thick, long and straight. Perfect smile, wow what an attitude too. Whew, made it back in the house. Me: Ex!! Hey, who on earth is that in the truck? She looks like your sister 'E', only much younger. Ex: oh, that's my friend 'F', and she's available! Lets go outside and I'll introduce you to her! She's old enough for you, she's 33. Me: Ummm, oh no, I already did that, and I just caaannnn'ttttt!!! You know my beautiful Ex, that I'm going to Russia next month and I couldn't stand to do anything like this right now? By the way, how many girl friends like this do you have? Ex: I have a LOT of them at the church. They are all single, and all available..... You should go with me to meet all of them, because they're all very nice, they don't party and they have very good attitudes... Me: (in a joking manner) Oh, you mean they're not all like you? Ex: (laughing) Of course not! Me: (Shake head, totally disgusted with myself..) But why didn't you tell me about these women last year, before I had made my mind up to go to Russia? Ex: I DID tell you about them. Me..... (epilogue) ahem, after knowing for so long how my ex's friends, were the devils children, I ALWAYS forgot anything she ever told me about anyone that was available.. It looks like my ex, now travels with a killer group of ladies, or she's out to corrupt the world. Lol, I don't think the latter, because her life has changed so much in the last five years. But wow, what a backup plan, if Russia don't work! My step-daughter would be jealous! Title: Hey Brain!!! My Goodness..Your Ex is trying to help set you up with some Gorgeous Pinays that are already here and are God fearing Christian Women? I'm comitted to going, and someone may as well commit me for not. So I am. Whatever happens, happens. I'll live with it, and look myself in the mirror one day and say, well, I told ya so! :) PS: My ex... owes me for life, so you know... if you got kids, then there is no reason not to get along that's for sure. If you are going to Russia stay in well-traveled areas. Well Brian, Sometimes true love can be as close as your own driveway. What the hey, why not go for it? Maybe a quick fling now will put everything in a clearer perspective during that Russian trip (if you don't cancel it). Might be your last chance you know... ROFL! Brian N You lucky dog go for it ... Nothing ventured nothing gained. Watch out for those killer smiles. Where are you going to go in Russia? My Cousin and her husband went there and adopted 3 kids none related to each other all at once about 3 - 4 years ago around Irkutsk / Lake Baikal. Hope you'll have a good trip there and you will share about it with us. Go for one of these pinay's also! If you trust your ex's judgement about them. you two seen to be on decent enough terms. The worst that can happen is that you at least make some new good cute friends hopefully. Windmill Boy |
