Title: Agencies in St.Petersburg? Post by: Haroshij on March 21, 2004, 05:00:00 AM Hi,
One of my friends will during this week go to St.P. to meet one of my wife's friends. They have been writing and phoning for some time. However my friend has no backup-plan, and I'm afraid that if things don't go well with the lady he is meeting, he will lose time and money. Does somebody know about a good agency situated in the center of St.P. where he could drop in if necessary? Thanks Haroshij Title: Thanks for the replies. n/t Post by: Haroshij on March 23, 2004, 05:00:00 AM Title: The Svetlana Agency Post by: chefbee on March 22, 2004, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Agencies in St.Petersburg?, posted by Haroshij on Mar 21, 2004
I,ve already heard from a T.V. Documentery on the Discover Channel that Svetlana Agency Already has a good Walk in Agency at St. Petetrsburg. I suggest that your friend gives them a try. I suggest that he finds out about the agencies in advance (maybe getting in touch with them prior to his visit to St.-Petersburg would be a good idea). Out of the ones I worked for I found European Connections the most reliable one. However, I haven’t been able to find them on the Internet lately. Not sure also, if you could just “drop in”… Also, Foreign Affair is supposed to be very good. Again, I would talk to them HERE before going to Russia. Regs, Title: Re: Re: Agencies in St.Petersburg? European Connections eliminated one of their websites. They have 2 now, globalladies.com and russianladies.com. You need to plan a tour at least 3 weeks in advance but it really should be 4 or 5 because you need to send off for a visa and you have to pay more quicker processing and air fare would cost more with short notice. Planes are getting more full and it is getting harder to book flights on short notice. You can arrainge your own travel and just pay for the socials but I would rather do the opposite. I don't like the socials but I appreciate their help at the destination. AFA is not a honest agency. Stay far way from them. John Adams, their head honcho says all the right things until he gets your cash, and then claims to know nothing about their poor service etc they deliver. He tried to tell me he never received my e-mail about the horrible service etc his company delivered on a tour I went on.His famous quote is " I can give you a discount on your next tour,"! I would go with European Connections if you have to choose. |
