Title: Chapter 5, part 1. Post by: shadow on April 25, 2002, 04:00:00 AM I hiked down to SM mall, and was crossing the street there. I was in the median, and there was several rows of traffic, the closest of which was waiting to make a left turn. I'm standing there on a curb looking over the top of a taxi waiting for a break in the traffic. When the taxi driver sees that I am trying to cross the street, he nudges his car forward, so that I cannot cross between him and the jeepney in front of him. I pretended I didn't notice, then when a break in traffic occured, I stepped up onto the hood of his car, walked not lightly occross it, jumped down on the other side, and crossed the street. I didn't look back, but I would have loved to have had a picture of his face. How I love taxi drivers!!!
I went into SM mall, and purchased a plane ticket to manila for monday, and had a pizza at greenwich. Then I hiked back to Eddies. That evening, I ventured into Exotica, and guess who is working tonight. That's right, Nancy came back. She came and sat down next to me and I said, "Who're you?" I then went back to Eddies, and Rick was in the restaurant. So we talked for a bit and then decided to go someplace new. We went to a place he had been to several years earlier, that I had not heard of. Curiously, I had been upstairs of this place in a cybercafe several times in the last week but had not noticed there was a bar downstairs. This place is a non-place in my book. Not bad, I guess, just rather bland. Several girls came up to me, but nobody spectacular. One sat by me for a spell, then asked me to buy her a drink. I told her I didn't have any money. Lo and behold, she picked up her cell phone and was gone in 15 seconds flat. I wonder what her agenda was. :) We left there after a short time. As we were leaving, there were two girls walking down the street. One of them talked to Rick for a bit, but he declined their offer and walked on. I asked him if he had just been propositioned. He said yes, that for P100 they had offered to show him a "good time." Actually, they weren't bad looking either. I wonder if that P100 was for one girl or two. I'll have to ask him someday. |
