Title: Need info abt transfer svo-domododevo Post by: genoramix on December 05, 2003, 05:00:00 AM Hi all,
in 3 weeks i'm off again, this time for the REAL thing...(abt 6 hours of voice chat a day everyday for the last 2 months, and perfect connection(not web connection, us;))!!! It will be a crazy trip with no back ups and nothing, but i guess this time is the good one. BUT....i have seen that Sheremetevo is at the exact opposite from Domododevo... Moreover i'll be arriving on a Sturday and i don't know if it changes anything for the traffic on the road... Thx for the info, Patrick Title: Re: Another possibility Post by: Charles on December 07, 2003, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Need info abt transfer svo-domododevo, posted by genoramix on Dec 5, 2003
I agree with the comments regarding Peace Travel. They have served me well in the past, too. Another option, if its not too late, is to consider flying British Airways into Moscow. Their flights from London land at Domododevo which is nice because you can take the subway to the center of Moscow and avoid the taxi charge. It seems by you wrote Charles that one can take the Metro to Moscow center from Dmvdo. airport... Is the same true from Shmtvo-2 and Shmtvo-1 ?....Can you arrive to Moscow center from both of those airports as well or do you need to take a taxi or bus to the metro from those airports...? No, the metro does not go to SVO1 or 2. You have to go as far as you can on the metro and then transfer to a bus or taxi. I did this transfer once a couple of years ago. I used Peace Travel for my transfer. They are not the cheapest, but are honest and reliable. Also, Andrei will be able to let you know if 4 hours is enough time for you to clear customs etc. and make it over to Domodedovo. I think you will be OK, but I have never flown into Sheremetyevo on a Saturday, so I do not know how busy they are on a typical weekend. Andre is the best; if you have a problem, he will solve it for you. Title: I'll Agree 1 Million %...Met Him And He.... Post by: RickM on December 06, 2003, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Re: Need info abt transfer svo-domod..., posted by slimjimco on Dec 6, 2003
helped my wife get through a problem with the medical exam in Moscow for her K-1 that looked like it was going to be "curtains closed"... Andrei,on his "own" time went to the airport to meet strangers from Kyrgyzstan entering Moscow that had some special medical papers from my wife's doctor there and brought them to her to help her get the necessary approvals she needed for her K-1 medical exam. He did so much to help there is not even enough room here to write about it... Let me close by saying this about this guy and Peace Travel...The 1st time I went to Russia I booked and payed 2 seperate roundtrips inside Russia through him.I never went on the 2nd...When I returned to USA he tracked me down on the phone to see to it I got re-imbursed for the 2nd unused air tickets...........Didn't even know him from Adam back then...
