Title: chelyabinsk??( and nice story coming..;)) Post by: genoramix on November 15, 2003, 05:00:00 AM Hi all,
I accepted messages on icq from russians though, so i could chat with them and not loose all the improvements i had made this summer. after 2 weeks of chatting, she bought a microphone...I did the same 2-3 weeks later, and then it really started. *piece of advice : msn 6.0 with the microphone support is worth a telephone!!! Moreover if you have enough language skills to chat in russian, do it this way...actually as i said, i was not at all looking for a relationship with Russia now, but i did nothing and it seems what i had been looking for those past years just came at the most unexpected moment!* BAsically our chats grew longer and longer, until we spent whole nights speaking with each other and laughing. We spoke about our feelings with each other and we are both amazed that we could develop sth that strong only through an internet connection. SO you don't care about it, but it's almost so much of a miracle that i feel i have to tell it to the whole world(sorry i guess i'll never change, the head tries to be incontrol, but ohhh it's hard;)) I couldn't go there i had NO money..and 2 days after we confessed our mutual feelings, i get a job( doing all the IT system of an enterprise of consulting who employs 30 pple...so it will be great for my resume!!!) then i get a scholarship from the state of 8000$ for 8 months, a friend i hadn't seen in 6 months comes back and gives me the money he owed me, and my doctor tells me i shouldn't have problems with my knee(broke it VERY badly last winter snowboarding) for the next 3 years, as i was thinking i needed surgery in the next 2 months!!!
So it appears that contrarily to my previous beliefs that if your life is going very bad at some point, it still can be very good a while later...Just at the time i had lost hope(about everything, i just thought i would have to finish my studies in a squat or sth), it gets better!!! All of this to say i need info about chelyabinsk, mostly for accomodation, but as well i'd like to get a few tips abotu anything if someone has already been there(and yes i know i shoudln't drink water or eat shrooms or fish;))
