Title: Off To Russia :-) Post by: Ryan on November 04, 2003, 05:00:00 AM Just an update on the Visa processing, and well to gloat a little….
I sent my paperwork for a Visitors or Home stay Visa in to Russian Embassy in New York on October 20th 2003 and I only paid the $100 processing fee for not less than 6 days processing. I just got that Visa back today November 4th 2003 so that is 11 days total including the two day air each way to and from New York USP, 7 days for New York to process my Visa. NO MIDDLE MEN!!! I can now stay in Russia for three months total….Oh ya Ryan is going to have a blast!!! As one of my gifts to my girlfriend I have printed out every letter that she and I ever wrote during the past two years. It’s something like 500 letters and pictures; you should see the size of this binder. Wonder if I should send this as part of evidence when I send in for the K-1…. Title: Ryan, whatever you do.. ..do not send 500 letters along w/your I-129F application. The K-1 is the visa you must remember, not the petition. BTW..as I recall, I did not submit any letters of correspondence w/my petition. None was ever requested. Enjoy Togliatti..dress warm now and dosvidanya.. ;) Karl |
