Attila the Hun eventually settled in what is known as Hungary today and they along with the Magyars and to a certain extent the Mongols are the ancestry of modern Hungary. There were the Nothern Huns, Southern Huns and the Western Huns. Attila's huns ( the western huns) were made up up many different groups, asians, slavs, germans..... I have spent time in Hungary mostly in Pecs and Szeged and to me the people in Hungary in their facial features, especially the eyes, have a very asian look to them. Title: The odd thing is... Hungarians & Finns (primary linguistic type), seem to show stronger N. European features than, say, other elements of S.E. Europe - Romania, Bulgaria etc. Could it be a rare case of assimilation? lol... Hungarians, Finns and Turks speak the languages, which belong to the Ural-Altaic language group. Other people who speak this language group are Mongolians, Koreans and Japanese. They share the common grammatical structure. For example, they say I school to goEinstead of I go to school.EBy the way Chinese belongs to a totally different language. Some history books claim that up to 40 % of the central Europeans, including Germans and most of Slavs, inherit Hun-Mongol-Tatar blood. DNA study will support or deny this claim some day.
