Title: Some activities I've had Post by: Cal on July 25, 2003, 04:00:00 AM Since my trip to Ukraine wasn't one of those "find the perfect woman and propose" deals, I focused more on just having fun where I could find it. There are a lot activities in Kiev to choose from, and since life is uncertain to many people here, there is a lot of spontanious partying. My advice? Go with the flow, have fun and don't worry about wife stuff, just meet women and have fun with them!
One of the women I met took me to a disco boat on the the Dniper, it was a blast! If you're into eye candy and dancing, go to Moda Bar, it's another disco and lots of fun, avoid drinking more than four "Ukrainian cocktails" or you'll feel it the next day. If you're with a woman, don't get more wasted than she gets, I had to practically carry the woman I went disco dancing with. It wasn't a problem, since she might weigh 100 pounds soaking wet. If you dance, take your woman dancing! If you don't dance, LEARN HOW. :^) There are some incredible churches to visit in Kiev, and a great arch at the end of the "main strip" in Kiev, Kruschetak (spelled wrong, I know!). There is a huge underground shopping area here, a relic of the Cold War I suspect. Lots of street vendors too. Time for me to get back into the sunshine, typing trip reports in the Pentagon Internet cafe is BORING GUYS. I have a few gifts to get, so later. Incidentally I did meet a really nice lady, we're meeting once she's done with work for the day like we did yesterday. Am I going to propose marriage to this fantasically gorgeous, intelligent, funny lady that I have known for 3 days? Only if she's rich!!! ;^) Cal Title: Re: Interesting website Post by: wsbill on July 26, 2003, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Some activities I've had, posted by Cal on Jul 25, 2003
