Isn't a K-1 a single entry visa??? It was when we got my husband's. She cannot go to Canada at all--she won't be readmitted. Title: This is true.. Post by: tfcrew on July 14, 2003, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: k1 visa question visiting canada fro..., posted by amerikanka99 on Jul 14, 2003

If you cross a border,, and say 'Hello' to any customs official at that border, your wife or fiancee will need the correct documents. For Canada she will need a visa unless she has the green card, and more important, when you return, you want that green card, (or advanced parole), so she can come back home with you. We visited Canada last fall, and the Canadian official looked at the documents much more than the American official coming back, and my wife has the green card. |
