There are some guys who I think are just beyond help. Just got this un-believable e-mail.

Exchanged a few e-mails recently with a newby we'll call "Bob". "Bob" thinks he that there maybe something up with this one lady in Lugansk. We didn't get into any of the previous correspondence between "Bob" and Elena so I don't know why Bob has come to suspect anything about Elena, but being from Lugansk, one can never be to careful.

I told Bob the first thing he should do is to verify that she is real. We need to somehow get her address and phone number. "I have her address and phone number" Bob told me. Great! That makes the job a lot easier.

Bob asked if we could take her photo and I told him we would try, sometimes ladies just don't want us to take there photo so it's never a guarantee we will be able to take a ladies photo but we would try.

"Oh, and one other thing Bob requested, could you deliver her a pink rose instead of red"?  Sure Bob, no problem.

Bob sent me a photo of Elena so we knew what she was suppose to look like.

So we go and get one pink rose, type up his letter, check the battery in the digital camera and off we go to Elena's flat. There is Elena, one fine looking woman! Looks to be about 24, 25 and she looks fiiiiiiiine! We hand Elena her letter from "Bob", hand her the pink rose and told her that Bob would really like to have a photo of her. Elena said no problem and we took an absolutly beautiful photo of Elena.

So I wrote "Bob" back the following e-mail.

Hello "Bob",

  I can say she is a very attractive lady. She lives where she says she does
and she lives with her family.

........Now because Bob is somewhat new I thought I would give him a few possiable ideas towards meeting Elena.........

 Now Bob, how to proceed?  You go visit this woman. You ask her to visit
you in Kiev. You ask her to meet you on the 15th. You actually arrived to Kiev on
the 10th. You meet a few other ladies then you have Elena come in to see you.
She is to spend about 2 or 3 days with you in Kiev. You will have a two
bedroom flat.

"If" there is potential chemistry you now go to Lugansk to meet her family
and friends. You will spend your remaining time, probably about a week, with
her in Lugansk.. You will get back to Kiev the day before your flight
leaves.

Now if there is not that chemistry needed for man and wife, then after two
days Elena goes back home and you go into your back-up mode and maybe you
go to Dnepropetrovsk, or Odessa, or meet some new ladies from Kiev or maybe
one of the first three or four ladies you met in the first three days in Kiev you
have great interest in.

There are many options ahead. Elena is very pretty. You do not go to this
much time, trouble, expense to see just one woman though. Elena will be the
main lady, but you should see a few before her. Elena does not need to know
you got to Kiev a few days before your meeting.

Now that I've done more research I feel like you are involved with Valentine
in the scamming of people. Why would a picture taken of Elena by two women
who just delivered a rose be labeled Elena_17.jpg unless you already had
photos of her and knew who she was. Also, I never told you she goes by Elena
instead of Helena - so how would you know that unless you were involved in
the scam. I am going to add your name to the scam website and contact the
FBI like the web site suggests.

I wrote "Bob" back and told him that it is common to label each photo with the ladies name, that I am sure there were some Elena_15, 16 and 18. There will be some Olesya 12, 13 and 14, Tatiana 27, 28, 29, Oksana 9, etc on the same chip.  I told Bob that Elena probably told our people her name after they introduced themself's.

And the last thing I told Bob was that Elena was holding a PINK rose, not red as our 95% of the roses we deliver, but a pink rose, just as he requested.

I wonder how "Bob" we figured out 6 months ago to have Elena holding one pink rose!

Maybe he is/was jumping to conclusions, but I've read your board arguments and logic before that was just as faulty.

Your "helpful ideas" to him come across as a possible bait & switch, and an attempt to maneuver him into more than one woman (which it actually is, although you claim altruistically, but it easily appears as self-serving).  The pink rose has nothing to do with it, that photo was new and per his request, but his accusation is/was that your agency already knew her and inherently just labeled her as known without a clue from him (i.e., you slipped up).

Maybe you should write back.  Tell "Bob" that you apologize for the misunderstanding in your effort of helpful suggestions based upon experience (the way you explain it here does seem preachful or commanding), and that you are not asking, forcing, or trying to redirect him to any other women in your agency.  That if Helena is the one he is intersted in, then your agency will do nothing to prevent or otherwise interrupt that relationship, and will stanby to help in any possible way.

Just goes to show you how "Bob" can add 1+1 and come up with 6.  Methinks this pursuit can attract some oddballs who end up on the roadside. Of course I still can't understand what "Bob" was scammed of...the pink rose???

Jack,
Bob is obviously the paranoid type.  He will always be looking for a scam.  He will always be safe------and alone.  At least some of the naive guys can be trained or you can hold their hand really tight, but there is no help for the paranoid type.  How Bob ever had the balls to even attempt a relationship with a RW is the only question.

I would like 10 pink roses, yellow carnations and some other flowers delivered to Mr. Osama bin Laden in the tora bora caves. He must hold a copy of today's Karachi Times with the date clearly visible and a sign that says Hello CW. He must stand on one foot and juggle an orange with one hand. I also request a snippet of hair for DNA testing just to be sure.

P.S make sure its 10 roses not 9.

Hey Jack... we just got the ace of diamonds on Wednesday. Is this BOB, Baghdad Bob by any chance? if he reports Jack to the FBI he might find his photo on my personal deck of cards.

Sound advise though. It is hard to meet the right girl I a TWO WEEK visit. A bit like the two hour tour.

I agree have that backup strategy.  You sure need it when it comes to Ukranian/Russian Women.  But once you have made the RIGHT choice thigs should begin to flow.

I think BOB was a bit thick.  Guys please remember that most of these women are very intellegent and whist you may have a ticket out of there and provide opportunity that otherwise might not exisit, they are not stupid and they can sum you up pretty quick.  Two days should give you some insight but you will need much more time to get to know each other to make a life time committment.  If shorter then plan your expenses for what little time you may enjoy.  Either way finding a women anywhere it is not cheap.  BUT what better place to look then Eastern Slavic.
