Domenica, or the Commonwealth of Domenica is a small island, (290 sq. miles) with a population of 87,000. It is located at about the junction of the Leeward and the Windward Islands of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Sea. the language spoken is English. The Dominican Republic is the Eastern end of the Island of Hispaniola. Just to the east of Cuba. DR shares this island with Haiti. DR is 18,816 sq. miles large and has a population of 7,471,000.
