Title: Sad story... Post by: rojak on April 02, 2003, 05:00:00 AM My wife's daughter lives in Dnipropetrovsk, the 3rd. largest city in Uk. She reports that the entire city of 1 million people is without water for the last 24 hours! Seems the water dept. didn't pay the elec. dept... Media say it will be three days before the water comes back. In the meantime her neighbors are melting old snow to boil and drink. All restaurants, etc. are closed. All stores sold out of bottled water. Unthinkable, to me...
