I've decided to post a few photos of our recent visit to Hawaii. They can be found (I hope) by following this link -- http://photos.yahoo.com/icpilot. From there, it is necessary to select the link for 'My Photos' and then 9 thumbnails should appear. View a larger version of the photo by clicking on the thumbnail. Loved the pic's. So how did you like that trip to the lava flows? I found it rather spectacular. Down on the southern side of the island (SouthPointe). Genuine green sand created from a green semi-precious stone in the rock in that area. It is only accessible via 4-wheel drive or a 2.5 mile hike. Yeah, the lava flows were pretty spectacular. It was only slow moving in the spot where Olya is crouching in the photo - but not far away is a flow that was diving into a lava tube. Maybe 100 yards away the lava was occasionally dropping into the ocean and creating a huge steam plume. Quite spectacular! I think I may have liked Waipio Valley the best (the site of the Hula Girl photo) - though it is awfully difficult to pick only one 'favorite' from among the many beautiful attractions. - Dan Title: Great pics Dan . . .
