Title: Who went to DnipropetrovsK? Post by: Frank O on January 31, 2003, 05:00:00 AM I remember reading a post here by someone who went to Dnipropetrovsk & stated that is was very much overlooked by men & it was a goldmine for ladies. Who wrote that post? I'm going back for my second visit in May & I'm considering going.

it's a very nice city. Pres. Kuchma is from there and so he has put a lot of money back into his hometown. I flew into Dniper. but spent only one day in the city. My wife speaks highly of the place too. Good Luck to you! Title: That would have been me Frank.. I have been to Moscow, Tver, Kiev, Odessa and Dnepro. If I hadn't already found my fiance in Dnepro and were going back to the FSU, I would definitely go there first, having been to all these places. It is a major industrial city (huge) that is quite overlooked by most of the MOB scene. It's not a beautiful picturesque place like Odessa or impressive like Moscow or Kiev, it's a working class city with little tourist action. I met probably 20 women there. Only 2 had met an American before and those 2 had met only one American. All were prompt for our meetings together, very polite and not spoiled like I found more than a few women in the other cities to be. I was amazed at the difference. I would highly suggest running some ads there if you go. Just my personal experience. Of course it didn't hurt my opinion that I found my girl there.. ;-) Title: My ad will be running there... Yes, I remember reading your post. At that time things were great between me & my Marina so I wasn't interested in anything else. HOwever now that I'm more or less starting over I will be advertising all over Ukraine. I'm trying to plan my trip for May & make sure I don't miss anyplace. Thanks for the info. I really appreciate that. Glad to hear you found your wife there. HONESTLY I would rather find myself someone from a small town or one that is not too "up to date". Some of the Kiev girls sounded JUST like AMERICANS!!! ONe of them actually asked me what I drove because she like German cars specifically Audi's!!!! I told her I would NEVER buy her an Audi just to watch her reaction. LOL!!!! Oh well, travel to Ukraine just to get hit with AM attitude, no thanks! Title: Re: Who went to DnipropetrovsK? Frank, for what it's worth, I had exchanges going on with a few there in the past and while I haven't been there, it IS overlooked, and it IS a goldmine; (from what I understand it's more like the Novosibirsk of the Ukraine - functional, cheap, friendly, but not too pretty). If I did it all over again, Dnp is the only place I'd go to. Jack's got contacts there and you might want to give him a ring (phone that is, lol) on this. Title: I already did that... I'm running an ad & have started planning my next trip to include there. Jack is helping with that. He's been a great help. Title: Re: I already did that... Post by: david hagar on February 02, 2003, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to I already did that..., posted by Frank O on Jan 31, 2003
