Title: FYI on Moscow visas courtesy of 'Rick' Post by: Stevo on December 19, 2002, 05:00:00 AM Greetings from Moscow-
As promised, I'm happy to provide one of those rare unbiased, first-hand, completely factual posts to the list using my real name. The US Embassy has now had a few weeks of experience with the DHL delivery of the visa. In every situation of ladies staying at my flats, the visa was delivered to the flat by DHL the morning or early afternoon on the day after the interview. I have a good friend who is the manager of DHL (we Of course, as always, don't buy any airline tickets Thus, I believe we can all consider this very good And, in something equally important to me, my little Best Regards, Moscow Rick Title: What??...Can you please clarify? This post is a little confusing to me, as I am trying to figure out who the author is, can you please clarify? As this is one of those "rare unbiased, first-hand, completely factual posts to the list using my real name", which real name, Stevo or Rick? Title: It's Rick's post...his name is at the bottom. Hey I heard about Rick through my cousin. He stayed at one of his flats until our rental apartment was empty. People on other forums really hate this guy and I've never researched why but my cousin liked him and they hung out together at the hungry duck. Maybe Rick will remember him? Tony R from Ohio. Small world huh? I take it that people can have their visa sent anyware besides their home? If that's the case then we'll inform our guest to stay the extra time in our flat/apartment and do the same thing sense it's in the center of Moscow too. I stayed in one of Rick's places while in Moscow recently. Not in conjunction with any RW getting a visa, but had no problems with Rick. A bit pricy for a long term stay, but OK for a couple of days until another cheaper place became available. Yes, I heard the same thing about his flats, they're nice but costly. As for Rick himself my cousin liked hanging out with him when he spent time at the Hungry Duck. I think that he has something to do with running that place but I'm not sure. He let my cousin hang out behind the Bar with him and stuff, and tried to talk him into moving to Moscow. I guess they clicked?? Mike |
